1. The Agreement Between Us

These terms form the agreement between you, the person using the service, and Medzdirect, Inc., the company that operates the mailroom. They replace any earlier informal arrangement and apply each time you open this website, ring the coordinator line, send a message through jericho.jenson@medzdirect.buzz or ask us to coordinate a prescription and its delivery.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement and explains how the personal and health information you share is handled. The two documents are read together, so a term used in one has the same meaning in the other. If a conflict ever arises between these terms and the Privacy Policy, these terms decide how the service is used and the Privacy Policy decides how information is protected.

Medzdirect, Inc. is a coordination and logistics service. It is not a pharmacy, and it does not take the place of your prescriber, your pharmacist or the emergency services. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and a question about a dose must always be put to a licensed pharmacist or your prescriber rather than resolved from a web page.

2. Description of the Service

The service helps regional patients and their care partners manage mail-order prescriptions reliably. It includes verifying a written order, coordinating the medicine with a partner pharmacy, preparing prior authorisation, keeping temperature-sensitive parcels cold in transit and useful reminders, and routing delivery to a suitable address. We describe the main systems in detail on our services page.

The service is not a promise that a particular medicine, brand or delivery window is always available. Some medicines are dispensed only by the prescriber, some are restricted by plan or supply, and some delivery lanes do not run every day. Where a limitation stops an order, our coordinator will tell you clearly and work out the best alternative.

We may improve or alter the way the service is organised from time to time, for example the order of the steps on the sort bench or the schedule of courier runs, without reducing the core duty to coordinate a prescription you have asked us to handle.

3. Who May Use the Service

The service is intended for adults in the United States who are patients or authorised care partners of patients served by our mailroom. A parent or a legal caretaker may act for a child or for an adult they lawfully support, provided they are authorised to receive prescription information and to authorise delivery for that person.

If you act for someone else, you confirm that you are lawfully able to do so and that using their information in this way is proper. You may not use the service for any person without a genuine authorised relationship to them, and you may not impersonate a patient, a prescriber or a member of a pharmacy to obtain medicine or records that are not for you.

We may refuse to begin a coordination where the arrangement looks unsafe, unclear or not legally permitted, such as a controlled medicine request that does not meet the required safeguards. We will always explain a refusal and point you to your prescriber rather than leaving you without a path forward.

4. Accounts and Accurate Details

Many patients will have a personal record in our system so that refills, reminders and records stay in one place. You are responsible for keeping the details in that record true, such as your current address, your working email and the telephone number we can call about a parcel. A wrong address or a stale number can stop, delay or misdirect a shipment of medicine.

You agree to give us accurate information about the medicine you need and the prescriber who wrote it. If a detail changes, such as a move, a new plan or a different prescriber, please tell us before the next refill so the record is correct and the reminder platform stays helpful rather than misleading.

We take reasonable steps to keep your access secure and to verify an identity before releasing prescription history or arranging a change. You agree not to share an access credential with anyone and to tell us promptly if you believe someone else may use it.

5. Prescription and Cold-Chain Handling

To coordinate a medicine we need a valid written or electronic prescription from a licensed prescriber. We verify the order against the source, confirm the drug, strength and direction, and only then prepare it. We do not begin a coordination from a list of medicine names or a request without a prescription behind it.

For temperature-sensitive medicine, we take care to keep the parcel inside the required cold band. Insulin, vaccines and many biologics are packed with sealed gel cold-packs and given a recorded temperature trail from our chilled shelf to your door. You agree to accept a cold parcel promptly and to put it somewhere suitable when it arrives, because a medicine left in a warm doorway loses its guarantee of safety.

Cold-chain handling reduces but cannot remove every risk of a courier delay, a broken seal or a warm leg. Where we see that a parcel may have left the safe band, we tell you honestly, file the temperature record and arrange with your prescriber for a replacement rather than let you use a medicine of uncertain safety.

6. Refill Reminders and Scheduling

Our reminder platform learns the length of each supply and sends an early notice so a refill is requested before the bottle runs out. You can choose your reminder channel, and you can stop or adjust reminders at any time by telling the coordinator or writing to jericho.jenson@medzdirect.buzz.

Reminders are a convenience and not a guarantee that a refill will always arrive before the last dose. Supply delays, prescriber holidays and plan reviews can slow a medicine you have relied on, so please keep an eye on your stock and order early where you can. A missed reminder does not excuse a need to keep your own supply safe.

When a reminder is sent through a channel you chose, such as a text or an email, that message may pass through networks we do not fully control. You consent to that normal risk when you opt in, and we never ask you to reply with sensitive health details by text.

7. Prior-Authorisation Support

When an insurer needs approval before a medicine, our desk prepares the prior-authorisation paperwork, checks that the diagnosis and plan terms line up, and files the request. We then track the review and chase a decision so a parcel is not stalled by a form that was never answered.

Insurance approval is decided by your plan, not by us. We cannot promise a particular outcome, and a review can end in a denial, a request for a formulary alternative or a call for a part that only your prescriber can supply. Where a denial happens, we explain it and work with your prescriber on the next reasonable path.

You remain responsible for telling us the whole truth about your coverage and the identity of your plan. Providing false plan details to gain approval is a breach of these terms and may be reported to the insurer.

8. Pharmacist Consult Line

Our pharmacist consult line connects you to a licensed pharmacist who can review a possible interaction, explain how to take a medicine and arrange a replacement after a warm or late parcel. The line is a helpful service and is staffed during the business hours shown on our contact page.

The consult line does not replace your own pharmacist or prescriber, and it does not provide emergency care. If you believe you are having a serious reaction or a medical emergency, call the relevant emergency number at once rather than waiting on a consult line. The line offers guidance, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.

Calls to the line may be recorded where the law allows, so that we can keep a proper record of safety decisions and improve the service. If you do not want a call recorded, say so at the start and we will respect your choice where we lawfully can.

9. Fees and Payments

The coordination service itself is often provided free to patients whose medicine is handled through a pharmacy employee or a plan arrangement. Where a fee applies, we tell you clearly before any charge is taken and you decide whether to proceed. We never allow an unpaid coordination charge to stop an essential refill without first agreeing a way forward.

Medicine is paid for separately through your plan, your pharmacy or your prescriber, and that bill is not part of these terms. You are responsible for any co-payment or pharmacy charge that your plan sets. If a payment fails, we will tell you and pause only the charged part of the coordination while we sort it out with you.

Our contact page lists our current methods of reaching us for a payment or billing question. We keep payment records securely and never store a full card number beyond what a payment processor needs.

10. Delivery, Delays and Damaged Parcels

We aim to route a parcel so that a written order becomes a delivery on the schedule we agree with you. Delivery is carried out by licensed courier partners acting under our instructions, and their normal lane from our North Miami bench is described on the site. We do not control every road, flight or network between the bench and your door.

If a parcel is delayed, arrives late or appears damaged, tell us promptly with the tracking number and, if you can, a note of the condition of the box and the temperature pack. We will investigate, check the temperature record where one exists and arrange with your prescriber for a safe replacement rather than leave you to use a parcel of uncertain quality.

Cold medicine must be received promptly at the delivery address. Please make sure someone can accept the parcel, or give a suitable authorised delivery point when you book the run. A parcel left uncollected in the heat loses its cold-chain claim, and we cannot be responsible for medicine that was not picked up in a sensible time.

11. Returns and Non-Dispatch

A medicine that has already been dispensed and packed cannot generally be returned to resell, for reasons of safety and pharmacy law. If we are able to cancel an order before it leaves the partner pharmacy, and you ask before that point, we will cancel it for you. Once a parcel has been dispensed, it follows the ordinary rules of the pharmacy that prepared it.

If a medicine you receive does not match what your prescriber authorised, or arrives unusable or out of its safe temperature band, please contact us immediately. We will work to put the matter right and coordinate a safe replacement. Do not use a medicine you believe to be wrong or exposed.

Occasionally we must refuse to dispatch a parcel, for example where the prescription is not valid, the insurance approval never came or a controlled medicine request does not meet the safeguards we require. In those cases we return the order to your prescriber and explain clearly what happened rather than quietly failing you.

12. Acceptable Use of the Service

You agree to use the website and the coordination service honestly and lawfully. You will not misrepresent who you are, submit a prescription you do not hold, change a record that is not yours to change, or try to obtain a medicine or the record of another person without a proper right.

You will not attempt to break into the systems that hold our records, place harmful software on this website, or use automated means to collect information from it beyond a normal visit. You will not interfere with the service in a way that harms other patients, for example by flooding the reminder lines or the consult line so that someone else cannot be heard.

Respect for others is part of the service. Harassing our coordinators, our pharmacists or other patients, or using the service to threaten or abuse anyone, is a clear breach of these terms and may end your accounts.

13. Your Responsibilities for Safety

Medicine works best when you store it, use it and report problems correctly. Store each medicine as its label says, keep a cold medicine cold when it arrives, and put nothing in your order that your prescriber did not authorise.

You are responsible for telling us the truth about what you need and for reading the label, the leaflet and the reminder notices we send. If something looks different from your last parcel, such as a changed manufacturer or a different colour tablet, do not assume it is a mistake. Contact the consult line or your pharmacist before you take it.

Please keep a cold parcel out of the sun, pick it up quickly and place it in a suitable refrigerator without delay. Following these simple habits turns our careful cold-chain work into medicine that is safe when it reaches you.

14. Intellectual Property and Content

The layout, text, imagery and software that make up this website, and the description of the mailroom systems that Medzdirect, Inc. operates, belong to Medzdirect, Inc., its partners or its developers, including the MedzDirect team that built this experience. They are protected by the usual rules of copyright and other intellectual property law.

We give you a limited right to view the content of this website for your own non-commercial use and to open the contact form and read the legal pages. You may not copy, republish or resell the content, the distinctive look of the bench-and-shelf design or any trademark of Medzdirect without a written agreement.

Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of any part of the service or the website, and the goodwill in the name Medzdirect, Inc. remains with the company and its developer.

15. Limitation of Liability

We are careful with the medicine that passes through our mailroom, but we are not insurers of every risk that a prescription can face. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you under or connected with these terms is limited to the reasonable steps we take to coordinate a replacement, return a fee and fix a genuine mistake, rather than to every indirect loss that might follow.

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts a liability that the law does not allow us to remove, such as liability for a medicine that is wrong because we made a deliberate error, liability for fraud, or liability a statute says we cannot exclude. Where a law protects you, it overrides this section.

We are not liable where we could not reasonably prevent a delay or loss, for example a courier network failure outside our control, a prescriber decision, or an insurance denial that decided a medicine could not be approved. We will always tell you the truth about what happened rather than hide behind a limit.

16. Indemnity for Users

You agree to be responsible for harm that you cause to the service or to Medzdirect, Inc. through a deliberate breach of these terms. This includes providing false prescription or plan details, misusing a record, attacking the system or using the consult line to threaten or defraud anyone.

Where you cause Medzdirect, Inc. to be presented with a claim, fine or recoverable loss because of a knowing, deliberate misuse of the service rather than an honest misunderstanding, you agree to be responsible for the part you caused. We will not seek to hold you responsible for an honest error or for an outcome you could not have foreseen.

We will give you a clear written explanation of any claim, a reasonable chance to put things right and a fair estimate of the loss we believe you caused, before we ask you to answer for it.

17. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service and ask to close your record at any time by writing to jericho.jenson@medzdirect.buzz or calling +19708237151. We will then stop new coordination work for you and explain how to arrange the remaining refills with your prescriber and a local pharmacy.

We may suspend or close your access where we believe you are misusing the service, endangering a patient or breaking the law through the service. We will normally tell you first, give you a chance to respond and explain our reasons, unless urgent safety, law enforcement or a prohibition makes that impossible.

Closing a record does not remove past health records that pharmacy or tax law requires us to keep, nor does it end terms that are meant to survive, such as the sections on limitation of liability and governing law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We review these terms from time to time to keep them truthful and lawful. If we change them in a way that matters, such as a new fee, a new way of using the service, or a new limit on our responsibility, we will post the updated version on this page and note the date of the change.

If a change is important, we will also try to reach you through the contact details you gave us, so the change is a proper notice rather than a surprise. Continued use of the service after a posted change is your agreement to the newer terms. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the service and ask us to close your record.

A change that is needed only to keep the service legal may apply without advance notice, and we will still announce it on this page promptly.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms and the service they describe are provided from the State of Florida in the United States, where our office at 1065 NE 125TH St Ste 300, North Miami - 33161-5833 sits. The law that governs the reading of these terms is the law of the state of our principal office and the federal law of the United States, except where a different law applies to you by a rule that cannot be changed by a contract.

We prefer to resolve a concern by talking, and most disagreements are a miscounted parcel or a misunderstood schedule rather than a legal matter. If a dispute arises, please contact us first and give us a fair chance to fix it. Many issues can be put right with a simple call to +19708237151.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be dealt with in the courts that have proper authority over the matter, subject to any right you have under consumer law in the place you live. Nothing in this section takes away a right the law says you must keep.
